Puzzle Designer for Escape Simulator

Pine Studio is a boutique game studio based in Croatia that specializes in crafting extraordinary puzzle games on the cutting edge of technology. Some of our featured games include Faraway, SEUM, The Birdcage, Cats in Time and Escape Simulator.

We are looking for a talented and experienced puzzle designer to join our team and work on Escape Simulator, a first-person puzzler that can be played solo or in an online co-op. Escape Simulator is a game that simulates realistic escape rooms with high-quality graphics, physics and interactivity.

As a puzzle designer, you will be responsible for:

• Creating original and captivating puzzles that fit the theme and difficulty level of each escape room
• Developing clear and consistent rules and clues for each puzzle and adapting it to game mechanics
• Playtesting and refining puzzles to ensure they are fun, fair and challenging for players
• Collaborating with other designers, artists and programmers to integrate the puzzles into the game
• Providing feedback and suggestions to improve the overall quality of the game

To apply for this position, you should have:

• At least some experience in designing puzzles for games or escape rooms
• A portfolio of previous work that showcases your puzzle design skills
• A strong understanding of game design principles, logic and player psychology
• A creative mind and an eye for detail
• A passion for escape rooms and puzzle games
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Fluency in English

This is a full-time position and you will be working remotely from your home or any location of your choice.
